right quick post:
if you're in kino and you take a vague interest in american politics, then check out this book by doreen cronin called "duck for president". It's by the same author as click, clack, moo! and is TERRIBLY funny. It's a bush parody, ages 3 and up.

also, in reflection the other day at the busstop, i realised:

1. 13 takes a helluva long time to come whenever you're waiting for it
2. if you truly want to immerse yourself in a foreign culture and really APPRECIATE it, you better get a grip on your own individuality first, so you won't end up being automatically defensive or, worse, getting changed in ways that you might not want to, and are unaware of.
3. i should really sleep at more respectable times. So should my SISTER.
